Welcome to Rahvaan ("we," "our," or "us"), a platform that connects travelers with vehicle owners, drivers, and transporters. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
Definitions
"Platform"
The Rahvaan mobile app, website, and associated services.
"Customer/User"
Any person using Rahvaan to search, negotiate, and book a vehicle.
"Driver/Transporter"
Any person or business offering transport services via Rahvaan.
"Booking"
A confirmed agreement between a customer and driver for transportation services via the Rahvaan platform.
"Commission"
The service fee Rahvaan charges drivers for using the platform.
"GST"
Goods and Services Tax charged as per applicable Indian law.
Nature of Service
Rahvaan is only a connecting platform between customers and drivers.
We do not own vehicles, employ drivers, or guarantee trip quality.
All arrangements, including pricing, itinerary, and vehicle condition, are directly negotiated between the customer and driver.
Rahvaan facilitates communication, payment processing, and record keeping.
Bookings and Payments
3.1 Booking Process
- Customers can search and connect directly with drivers through the platform.
- Customers and drivers can discuss itineraries, negotiate prices, and confirm bookings through the platform's chat or call features.
3.2 Payment Methods
Payments can be made via:

📱 UPI
🏦 Net Banking
💰 Wallets
All payments go through secure payment gateways integrated with Rahvaan.
3.3 Taxes and Fees
GST (currently 18%) is charged on Rahvaan's commission from the driver's fare.
Payment gateway charges (typically 2%–3% per transaction) may apply and are non-refundable.
Rahvaan reserves the right to add future fees or government-mandated taxes and will notify users in advance.
Refund and Cancellation
Customer-Initiated Cancellations
- ▶Refunds will be processed as per our Refund Policy (see detailed policy).
- ▶Applicable deductions: payment gateway charges, GST, Rahvaan service fee, and any driver-incurred expenses.
Driver-Initiated Cancellations
- ▶Customers may receive a refund after deducting payment gateway charges and applicable fees.
- ▶Rahvaan reserves the right to take disciplinary action against drivers with repeated cancellations.
No Refund Scenarios
- If the booking was made outside the Rahvaan platform.
- If the trip was partially or fully completed.
- If the cancellation violates our policy timelines.
Outside Platform Dealings
⚠️ Important Warning
Any payments, negotiations, or trips conducted outside Rahvaan are at your own risk. Rahvaan will have no liability for disputes, accidents, fraud, loss, or damages arising from such dealings.
User Conduct
By using Rahvaan, you agree to:
Accurate Info
Provide accurate personal, payment, and booking information.
No Fraud
Not misuse the platform for fraudulent or illegal activities.
Respectful
Treat all users respectfully and follow local laws.
Liability Disclaimer
Rahvaan is NOT responsible for:
Vehicle condition, driver conduct, delays, or route changes.
Loss, theft, injury, or damage during trips.
Disputes over fares or services agreed directly between customer and driver.
Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice if:
Fraudulent activity is suspected.
Terms & Conditions are violated.
False documents or information are provided.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notifications.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
